Sharing one of my favorite memories of a visit to Portland Japanese Garden. Special beauty found here every season of the year.
Fall came and went so quickly.
Suddenly it was Christmas! I celebrated at Clint’s with the family on Christmas Eve.
Portland Japanese Garden closed for months of expansion work but I have many pictures from past January visits.

Triumph TR3, 1958
My very favorite entry this year. John had his 1958 TR3, a black one, when we started dating. We drove away from our wedding in it and what a way to start our marriage.
I met the owner of this Triumph today and had a nice visit. She was born the year this car was made! That makes 1958 a very, very good year.
Leaves out, flowers in bloom, birds singing today😀
So while the Courtyard dressed for Easter, we also had sunlight streaming into The Commons for Happy Hour with Stu Lay on piano.
I got the biggest kick out of Stu’s somewhat novel use of the cup holder on his walker. After all, one wouldn’t want to put a wine glass on the piano.😀
