Fall came and went so quickly.

Portland Japanese Garden closed for months of expansion work but I have many pictures from past January visits.

Triumph TR3, 1958

Triumph TR3, 1958

My very favorite entry this year. John had his 1958 TR3, a black one, when we started dating. We drove away from our wedding in it and what a way to start our marriage.

I met the owner of this Triumph today and had a nice visit. She was born the year this car was made! That makes 1958 a very, very good year.

Bright outside and inside, too😀

Leaves out, flowers in bloom, birds singing today😀

So while the Courtyard dressed for Easter, we also had sunlight streaming into The Commons for Happy Hour with Stu Lay on piano.

I got the biggest kick out of Stu’s somewhat novel use of the cup holder on his walker. After all, one wouldn’t want to put a wine glass on the piano.😀

Twas Christmas Day

There’s nothing like kids and Christmas, especially when one is lucky enough to have all five granddaughters around the tree. I managed to capture one of them long enough to grab a few candids. It’s Charlie and she’s now four years old! That’s a good age to remember the important things like milk and cookies for Santa, even carrots for the reindeer.

Naturally, as a Grammie I can’t share just one photo of Charlie, so here’s another:

One last picture with the promise that for now it’s really the last. I love this cutie!
